Coaches & Venues

Being a small and nimble academy, we are adaptable to needs and changes. Coaching and progress are moving targets within a fixed framework. Our curriculum is planned but flexible. We are prepared to travel to a variety of venues that suit our students. Being adaptable also means being able to work well across a different age group and levels, from as young as 4 to adults, from foundation training to coaching professional players.

In addition to traditional coaching, we also organise a variety of events to make learning fun and to cultivate a sense of community amongst our students.

Sebastien Ortega

Sebastien is a passionate and qualified coach with over 15 years experience in Europe and Asia. From mini tennis to high performance players, he tries to transmit the values he believes in, as hard work, resilience, passion and respect.

Qualified as “Mini Tennis”, “Level 1” and “Level 2” Coach for the Belgian Tennis Association, Cardio Tennis Instructor, RPT Director of Tennis, ITF Academy Training, Sebastien believes that there is not one method or system that is best for developing players. Instead, as coaches, we learn about individual students and draw from our range of tools to get the best out of each and every student.

After 15 years of coaching in the prestigious Royal Leopold Club, Brussels, Sebastien arrived in Hong Kong in 2017, recruited as the Head Coach of Bruguera Tennis at the Hong Kong Golf and Tennis Academy. He joined the reputable Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club in July 2019 and ultimately launched Ortega Tennis, designing a holistic tennis training program that focuses on individual development.

Adam Daley

Adam is a highly qualified coach with over 20 years experience across all levels from beginner, all the way through to developing players from junior ITF and taking them through to ATP/WTA level, with special focus on tennis specific footwork and movement.

Qualified as an RPT Director of Tennis and Coach Tutor, USPTA Elite Professional and LTA Senior Club Coach, Adam also possesses a Masters degree in Sports Management and Bachelors degree in Sports Science. Having previously coached at Academies in UK, Spain and Dubai, Adam was recently Director of Tennis at the prestigious British International School in Phuket, Thailand.

Adam joins Ortega Tennis clearly buying into the company motto “Where Passion Meets Tennis”.
